We were tasked to create an infographic from a fictional non-profit organization about a social or environmental issue for my Graphic Design Methods and Principles class, creating all icons, illustrations, layout, and text from scratch. I chose to do homelessness as I believe it to be an overlooked issue, and people don't recognize homeless individuals as victims enough. I decided on the name "Path to Home Project" to emphasize the idea of the journey of recovery. I wanted to create a narrative centered around the chronology of homelessness, and common order in which someone becomes homeless. I wanted the colors to reflect the severity of the stages, as homelessness has stages that become increasingly diffucult to come out of. Intended for digital use on mobile or desktop browsers.
