ABOUT
My name is Ayman Rashid and I am a photographer and graphic designer based in the Washington D.C. area. Photography, design, and visual art are what I live my life by, and I always strive to bring artistic visions to life through my own perspective.
I am currently a student at George Mason University studying graphic design and photography, however my experience goes beyond classes and clubs. I work as one of the University's four lead photographers, shooting high profile events to student led performances. I have had the honor of photographing figures such as CEO of Siemens Barbara Humpton, both Virginia senators, former NASA administrator Charles Bolden, and more. I was also approached to be featured in an art exhibition organized by Mason Exhibitions.
In terms of design, I do freelance work for small business and have gained extensive brand identity, editorial, and typographic design experience in my classes. The harmony between photography and design is something I am constantly exploring, through practical, or passion projects. I continue to do freelance work in either or both, using my experience in event and studio photography to elevate my client's vision.
